Drifters - Money Honey (Original)
"Money Honey" was written by Jesse Stone who also penned "Shake, Rattle & Roll" using the pseudonym of Charles E. Calhoun. The song was first recorded by The Drifters in September of 1953 and marked the debut of their new lead singer, Clyde McPhatter. This recording went to #1 on the R&B charts where it stayed for 23 weeks, and has since become one of Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Songs Of All
